's behaving... which isn't rocket science. it's just common sense. from td ameritrade. >>> 2:30 left in the trading day. here is what happened to the dow, the manufacturing report out this morning, disappointed bs back below 50, meaning we're in contraction territory, even when the republicans announced their counterproposal on the fiscal cliff. no real movement there. a couple zigs and zags but we're going out on the low end, about 50 point. we'll quickly show you the charts of the dow, the s&p and the nasdaq, going back for the full year. we're back above the 200-day moving average in all three cases. it's the closest for the dow. we're right at the long-term trend line there. let me show you. i think the s&p is next here. the s&p and the nasdaq are well above their 200-day moving average. move it along, yes. again, these are not precise but you can see it's moving well above that. this is the nasdaq. and the s&p is well above its 200-day moving average. there you are. it's the strongest of those three percentagewise. warren, democrat is typically a pretty good month for equities.

science. it's just common n sense, from td ameritrade. >> a school in texas is putting tracking chips in the student i.d. cards. the school says it's for students safety in case of emergency and increase attendance and means more money. students don't like this, because of privacy. and judge, welcome back. you're about to launch a second. an i don't see anything wrong with tracking chips in student's i.d. where they are. >> obviously the courts would rule on this, as far as i know the first proposal to it. it could lead it a slippery slope. it could be chips under the skin, which has been proposed before. it could be rewired wearing i.d. off school grounds and the supreme court students can be punished for behavior off school grounds and outside of the school hours of the day. so, this could lead to a very dark and dangerous area, but in terms of safety in the schhol -pbuilding, which the school ha an obligation to ensure, and in terms of knowing where the children are in the school building, and the school has the right to know. >> i don't think should be upheld unless it's tracking

, science, and research. now, i know some of this may sound familiar to you because we talked a lot about this during the campaign. this shouldn't be a surprise to anybody. this was a major debate in the presidential campaign and in congressional campaigns all across the country and a clear majority of americans, not just democrats but also a lot of republicans and a lot of independents agreed we should have a balanced approach to deficit reduction that doesn't hurt the economy and doesn't hurt middle class families. and i'm glad to see, if you've been reading the papers lately, that more and more republicans in congress seem to be agreeing with this idea that we should have a balanced approach. so if both parties agree we should not raise taxes on middle class families, let's begin our work with where we agree. the senate's already passed a bill that keeps income taxes from going up on middle class families. democrats in the house are ready to vote for that same bill today. if we can get a few house republicans to agree as well, i'll sign this bill as soon as congress sends it my way. i'
